Question

What kind of wildlife do you see in your neighborhood, city/town, and or state??

Birds: if you know the type of bird then say so.

I see tons of birds, but I don't know all their names...I'm sorry.

But I can recognize some other animals in my neighborhood like:

Deer
Foxes
Raccoons
Opossums
Squirrels
Coyotes
rabbits
mice
snakes
voles
salamanders
frogs
toads
ducks


My backyard is a forest, because I live in a suburban/foresty area. It's awesome seeing so much wildlife! I never cease to be amazed at how much is in my backyard!

We live in New Jersey by a forest so it's long!.Below I have a list:

-Black snakes
-Garter Snakes
-New Jersey Chorus Frogs
-Eastern Gold Finch
-Blue Jay
-Sparrows
-Black-Capped Chickadees
-Red Tailed Hawks
-Peregine Falcons
-Gray Foxes
-Deer
-Eastern Box Turtles(Took care of a wild one dor a bit)
-Red Breasted Robin(Same as above!)
-Rabbits
-Moles
-Fruit Bats
-Red Wing Blackbirds
-Great Horned Owls
-A pair of Mallard Ducks swim in our pool every year!

And this isn't even the whole of it!

Where I am at now, just your typical city dwellers, stray cats, squirells, raccoons, opossum and birds(buzzards, hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, herons, anhigna, wood peckers, etc.).

When I lived in the country, I seen bobcats, deer, coyotes, bear tracks, turkeys, all of the above.

I live in the woods so I see....wolves,deer,coydogs ,skunks ,bevers,a few bears before,bald eagles,hawks,porkepines,Foxes,Raccoons.Squirrels,Coyotes,raabbits,mice,copperhead and garden snakes,frogs,toads,ducks,bevers,woodchucks,groundhogs, and MANY MANY MORE there are way to many to put down and for bird there are the normal blue jays, robins, chickadees,owls and blue and gray herrons

Probably can't name them all - but we've seen a raccoon, skunk, ground hogs, squirrels, chip munks, field mice, humming birds, gold finches and more.

birds um lets see.... we get cardinals, robins, finches, nuthatches, chickadees, crows, vulturs, hawks, .... vultures and hawks are our highway cleanup system. we have squirels, opposums, racoons, rabbits, deer, u name it. i live on 25.7 acres of woods in a very large forested area. a postal route with a name.
