Now I live in Hong Kong. I will go to Mississippi and live there for at least two years. However, I know few about the state, like climate, people, accent, living expense, museums and so on. What's more, I like climbing mountains. Are there many great mountain? Is it safe there? And if you are already resident of Mississippi, I'd like to make friends with you. :)

I love Mississippi! I have lived here my entire life. Mississippi is safe, but we have NO mountains. Which part of the state are you moving to? Email me with any questions...I'll do my best to help.

I live on the coast in Mississippi...there really isn't much here because Hurricane Katrina decided to take it all away. We do have casinos and of course the beaches.
We don't have any mountains, just lots of hills, although you can travel to get to the mountains, in Kentucky or at least in general location. As far as what is Missisisppi like...it's VERY VERY VERY different in the north as opposed to the south. It just depends on where you're going to be living. It is fairly safe here, of course all cities have their crime...especially Jackson, MS.

Hi...Mississippi has its good places and bad, just like every other place on the planet. There is terrible poverty in places and gracious, genteel living in others.

Here's a list of things to do there: http://www.visitmississippi.org/

Good luck!

I been there a time or two. You'll have to settle for tall hills.
