I TRULY BELIEVE THAT IF YOU CAN THINK IT; IT CAN BE DONE. SO EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

The affirmative context of your question is "Everything is possible." If you accept this statement to be the same as your original question, read on.

Everything... possible...its very general, but it implies that there are no limits.
A limit is an extent to which something will cease to exist or stop functioning or be irreperably damaged. It refers to the unattainable.

So, lets take technology and break it down to a commonality - the periodic chart.
Everything is made up of that chart, yes? And the way those elemets are constructed is what determines if we have a living thing, or a rock.
Now lets talk about limits to the periodic chart. Can I make water look like gold? Can I make gold have the attributes of water? No.
Their atomic structure is what defines them.

You see, take away our will and our inginuity and just look at the world around you. A rock is a rock. Can you change a rock into a chicken? With the right technology, possilby. But when that rock becomes a chicken, it is no longer a rock. There are limits to a rock. A rock will not behave like a chicken.
Therefore, the answer to your question lies in the structure of the elements. Manipulate them any way you want to, but in the end, they are what they are and you cannot alter that.

Therefore not everything is possible.

:-)

There is no such thing as nothing, so nothing is impossible.

If this statement is taken in the common meaning then some things are impossible. At this moment in time. You cant make a feather out of a rock, a chicken cant lay an elephant. But in future anything will be possible. Ever heard of Nano Technology yet??? There once was a time when comunicators were an unheard of means of comunication on Star Trek. Now we have mobile/cell phones. Same difference? Ours have gone further than that, phones that take pictures, videos with sound. Stand by carbon life forms... One to beem aboard Scotty... LOL

That's a logically and physically invalid statement.

For example you can imagine all sorts of things that are impossible or never really existed, such as an invisible pink unicorn.

But some things are simply impossible to imagine or create.

Here's an example:

Imagine a 2-sided triangle and then create one so that others can examine it and see what it looks like.

The statement "Nothing is impossible." is an interesting bit of philosophy one can argue endlessly about, but in the end, it has no validity in what we understand to be the real world.

Maybe. IN the FUTURE nothing might be impossible, but right now, a lot of things pretty much are, like flying in the sky like a bird with nothing but your arms and traveling to the other end of the universe.

i think it's true...look at the advances we've made just in the past 150 years or so....since man has existed no one thought we could fly...now we're flying at 3 times the speed of sound! as long as people have an imagination i dont think anything is impossible.

Anything is possible. Sometimes we put up false limits, so we never reach what we could be. They say the sky's the limit, but hey, we've gone into space and beyond. You can do anything! (try to keep it ethical and good though)
