is lance bass really gay? threw out all his years in pop rock we had seen him with women after women, and the tabloids reported he had been dating but is lance bass really gay or is he doing this cus his career has his rock bottom and is trying to get back up to the top?

People like him don't come out of the closet, they just 'fess up what everyone knew.
I met him at a nightclub (I live in Las Vegas) about three years ago. Totally sweet guy but he was surrounded by all these model-type girls who were trying to latch on with him. I noted his companion was a gorgeous man and they were obviously trying to be on a date. I winked at his date, gave him a smile and a shrug. Got a grin back and an eyeroll and an obvious sigh (like, "I'm used to it).
I complimented Lance on his hair (it was done differently that day and looked great) and his hand flew to his head and he said, "Do you really like it?" I barely dodged the purse that came flying out of his mouth. You didn't even need gaydar for that one. Such a queen you should refer to him as "your highness". Like I said, very sweet though. Much cuter in person too.

Yes, he is really gay. I don't know how you think coming out of the closet could help his career at all. But at the same time, I don't really see why he felt the need to publicly announce it either.

I think so.He said it himself and let the whole world know.Why would he reveal something like this it it werent true.Sometimes honesty makes people admire you more than pretending to be what u are not just for publicity or media mileage.People will understand him,he needs to be happy like some of us.

No one would say they were gay unless they really were. He is in love with some D-list celebrity, Reichen from "The Amazing Race". I am happy for him.
