He turned 18 in Dec. 05. School ended on 5-30-06 Grad. on 6-3-06. I was thought my oblication to pay child support was on 6-3-06 not 6-30-06.

I love my child, most of you all are the very reason that a lot of men get stereo type of being dead beats. And just in case you were wondering I NOT ONLY PAID MY CHILD SUPPORT. I'M ALSO PAYING HIS COLLAGE. Something his mother never though about and won't even help out.

The mommy support ruling always go to the way you get screwed the most. I asked for relief of child support for my two daughters a month after my youngest daughter turned 18 and 3 months after graduation. The older one was already 21 and had lived with me for two years going to college on my dime. How do you like that I'm paying for child support for two years for a child living with me and me paying her college bills. Of coerce I got nothing from her and she threw a fit when it ended.

It's just money man let the B**** answer to God when she dies.

I don't no where you live. Most child support ends when the child turns 18. However, if they go on to more school there maybe some obligation of some kind. If there isn't a legal one you have a moral obligation to pay for at least 1/2.

I'm sure your attorney can answer this question, and I'm sure you and the mom have legal guidelines for the last day of support.

However, everyone knows that 18 year olds are still kids. They still need financial support. Maybe you can come up with a way to give the child regular financial support directly instead of through the Mom. I'm sure it would help his or her transition into adulthood. It would also be the right thing for a parent to do.

Kids ALWAYS need you, even after they hit 18.

Obviously you are not a father only a sperm donor. Man Up and pay the support. Oh by the way you should pay for some school too.

Follow up,
Just so you understand, there is NO excuse for avoiding support of your children, now of ever. This question reveals why some people should not be allowed to reproduce.

If I'm not mistaken, you pay child support until your child is of age. I know in Florida, New York, and Georgia, it is up until the child is 18 years of age. Check with the Child Support Agency, they will give you the cut off point.

You would have to see your court order or contact an attorney. I know my kids dad it doesn't stop until they finish school whether it be highschool or college so if you son is going on to college you might still have to pay but you can get it set up to where it goes to him and not your ex. If you don'thave to pay through college sorry but you will still have to pay for the entire month of June I know it doesn't sound fair but thats the way it is.

If your child is going on to college, then it is very likely that you will pay child support until your child is 21. If not, then contact your local district attorney to answer this question, because all agreements are different.

He's your kid, so don't be a cheap skate, send the whole month,
It will probably be your last anyway.
Seems that you can't wait to dump him and his mother anyway.
