i dont know about that ... but i knew that i was falling out of love the day he sat across the dinner table from me .. and that chewing noise i used to think was cute .. had suddenly made me want to ram the bloody fork down his throat !

I think there is actually some profound truth to that. I know I love my husband of 12yrs more now than before. I also am aware of more (even all) of his imperfections now more than ever before. Many of those imperfections have become very endearing to me.
I do love his silly sense of humor, or how he can still get embarrassed sometimes when I catch him starring at me. I have even found over the years his typical male gas passing can be endearing. He's mine, and that's all I need.

My boyfriend snores, but its so cute because it'll all be quiet and then theres a grunt here and there, and sometimes he manages to wake himself up - always makes sure we sleep with a smile! I don't think he has any other imperfections, I guess I have the rest of my life to find out!

it's not the imperfections that i love !
I don't agree that you know you love some one when you love their imperfections.
You know you love someone when you can't stop thinking about them and every time you see them your heart flutters, the more time you spend with them the more time you want to spend with them .
You can talk to them for hours and still find more things to talk about ,when it comes time for them to go home neither of you want to say good bye for the night/day! Some of the things that use to really bug me about my husband and i would class as an imperfection (such as constant very loud sniffling),i don't even notice any more!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy I have a crush on has a really different way of talking. He "trips" over his words and uses very formal figures of speech. A lot of my friends think it's hard to understand him, but I think it's the most adoreable thing ever that he talks that way.
