There is no average price. It depends how big & what detail is involved in your desired tattoo. I had two fairly plain(ish) tattoo's & they cost around £40 each, but it all depends where you go to have it done. Have you anything in mind. Usually the tattooist will have a book or two with pictures of tattoos you can chose.

How long is a piece of string?

Price depends on what you want done... size...how good the artist... time involved... etc

Like everything else in life: you get what you pay for!!

But unlike with a TV, DVD, Hi-Fi etc.... you can't take it back and exchange it if you get a Dud one!!!

You are best to go somewhere, where you know and have seen their work... then talk over with them what you want to have done... they will then tell you time & cost!!!

size, detail, smetime colours and efinetly the skill of the tatoo-ist are factors. Some really good ones have been known to charge £400 quid for a 'averae' tribal design on the forearm

depens on the size of the tattoo, and how complicated the design is. If you have a design you want or have seen one take it to a tattooist and they will tell you the price.
