I've never met someone that has heard of this band. I love their music. If you haven't heard their music just watch the movie Vanilla sky, they do most of the music for it.

They aren't a particularly well known band but I've managed to get a few people interested in them and met others who already were. I only really got into them after Takk, I bought the untitled album but wasn't sure, but now have gone back and got Von and Aegis Byriun, as well as some EPs. If you get a chance you should watch their videos to, Hoppipolla is just bizarre but most of them fit the music very well. The video to Glosoli has to be seen though

i've heard of them and have seen them live. great band! I have been completely taken by Explosions In The Sky though, so my Sigur Ros is a bit rusty!
