There is no such thing as colour, only it's concept. All light is white. and it vibrates at different frequencies on the electromagnetic scale, of which visible light occupies a very small proportion. We see things as being coloured because of the effect the frequency of light has on our retina. We see materials, flowers, the sky, earth, etc as different 'coloured' because different materials will absorb different frequencies of light and reradiate differing frequencies which stimulate our retinas variably. A rose that radiates in one frequncy will be found to be subtly different at a cellular level to a rose that radiates in another frequency. Both will of course be perceived to be different coloured.
If your screen were all pink or you were in a pink room, you would be more easily persuaded of the truth of my answer.
Women are particularly attracted to men who wear pink. (Don't know as never worn it)
Ultra violet is above the highest frequency on the EMS our eyes can percieve. Infra red is below the lowest frequency of light our eyes can detect. - in the portion of the EMS occupied by long wave radio waves. As light can easily be demonstrated to be both particles and waves, so too is colour both waves and particles
Black & white are not colours. One absorbs all colored light and the other reflects all coloured light.
I know this answer reads a bit grey but my ideas came out of the blue and I'm not too yellow subject myself to criticism, which may make some see red which tickles me pink as I just think they're green with envy at their lack of imagination and they can turn blue in the face denying it as I'm not the fawning (groan) type who panders to someone in a blue funk - I'm big enough to just wish them a purple patch.

Colours don't actually exist. You only see a green leaf because of the white light that bounces off the surface of an object that absorbs the red wavelength. Shine a coloured light on a leaf in the dark and try to see what colour it is. Look at cars under orange streetlights and try to work out the colour.

From what i've got heard, prostitutes are very unhygienic. you have have been given to hit absolute all-time low to alter right into a prostitute. however, this is totally risky and that i can't think of of ANY reason in any respect why somebody could be forced to pursue that form of existence. I mean, you may no longer tell me that the conventional individual can't wait tables or artwork at a branch shop. There are a lot of respectable jobs accessible that don't endanger your existence, wellness, freedom and self-admire. All you have have been given to have is a superb concepts-set and be in charge. that's what employers choose. you do no longer could have a extra physically powerful education. i'm no longer ranting at YOU, hon. i'm getting the place you're coming from. this is merely that the finished way of existence boggles me. There are jobs accessible. specific, this is no longer glamorous to inventory cabinets, even with the undeniable fact that that's a customary rate residing and if that's putting meals on the table then what's the subject? we gained't all be expert athletes or action picture stars. no longer something incorrect with complicated artwork.

Colours simply relate to light, at a certain frequency. Therefore you could say, long wave, short wave, Vhf, microwave, Purple...etc. Its called the visible spectrum. Its interesting to google for a list, and see where all waves fall, from radio, to micro cookers, cell phones, light, sound, radiation, to individual colours.
Colour blindnes proves, that what we see differs widely between people. The full colour view of people varies as widely, as types of film, digi cameras, all brains having thier own white balance, colour tone, etc.
Blue is the most popular colour, universally, think about relationships, red, danger, green, serenity, and why. Set your own brain in motion, before you google for answers, its an amazing question youve brought up, so many levels! start with scientific, flirt with artistic, explore physcological...where to start? whats your favorite colour? google it!

As ever, there's a good article on Wikipedia. The visible spectrum (the colours we can see) are in fact just a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum. We see so little and yet think the rainbow's all there is, but it isn't...

LOTS of stuff.
when you mix paint to get colors, you don't use the same colors to get the same result between paints and light. (light combines into different colors than paint)
If you take any color, it looks different next to black, compared to white or Grey.
there used to be a Luscher Color test that supposedly told things s about your personality based on your color preferences.
Orange, red, and yellow stimulate the appetite - think McDonald's colors. Blue, green, purple don't.
You know what a rainbow looks like. If the light is bright enough, you will see TWO rainbows. VERY rarely, you can see edges of a third.
the human eye has 2 types of color receptors.
one receptor sees blue/yellow. The other receptor sees red/green.
a totally different type of receptor sees white and black.
When we talk about color, part of the area is defined by OPTICS - the pure physics of the situation. The other half is PERCEPTION - what do we see , how do we interpret it, how does the human eye work.
i can give you references if you tell me what area you care about.
