Ok, I am a 15 year old, and my 16th bday is this saturday....DPS is only open during the weekdays and there really is no possible way to get my license during next week cause i have camp, and i need my license for camp. Is it possible for them to give me my DL a day ahead? Some people have told me they can do that, but i really don't know....Can they give it to me and it be in effect that same day or will it be in effect the next day (when i turn 16)......

If you aren't 16 and if you haven't taken the drivers test they won't give it to you a day early.

No one here really knows the answer to your question, no matter how "intelligent" and "authoritative" they like to sound, so just go ask the DPS. They ain't gonna shoot you or throw you in jail for asking the question, but they can, possibly, give you what you want, your license a day early. No one here can, so go to the DPS. God Bless you.

If you know a trooper at the Dps station they will, otherwise forget about it.
