Just see what number goes into both numbers! That's it! After you pick that number, just divide it off. So, here there are two numbers in which you can do that. 1 and 3. let us do 1 first 1(18-3n), no change!; it isn't simplified, well, 3 works too, so factor everything by 3,
3(6-n). Gotta 'divide off' or factor the greatest common multiple, or the number that works for both that is biggest!
