Be nice (of course) and be friends with him, get to know him and show an interest in things that he likes, or things you both have in common. Try just subtle flirting now (eye contact, flipping your hair, etc.) that will let him know that you like him.

I think if you stood right in front of him face to face for a few minutes, he'd probably notice you. You could even go out on a limb and tell him your name or something, if he doesn't know it already.
