I remember the series well - bad 'misogynistic' story-lines and lots of homilies about how to have the perfect American family (let the husband go bowling whilst the wifie looks after the kids and all will be well - and that the men are like little children, and women will look out for them and look after them.
Ah, such innocent fun.

I always wondered why Fred did not have feet problems with all that foot power he had to use to get his car moving...you could always see his feet scooting away. What was Barney Rubble's wife called...I can't remember!!

IT WAS MY FAVORITE SHOW ALONG WITH THE JETSON'S! THE REALLY COOL THING WAS THAT I WORKED AT THE FLINTSTONE'S THEME PARK IN CUSTER, SD FOR A FEW YEARS, WAS THE GIFT SHOP MANAGER FOR TWO AND A HALF OF THEM! MIGHT HAVE SEEN SOME OF YOU THERE! ONE OF MY FAVORITE JOBS!
