I'm starting my degree programme soon and don't know which one. I would love to go into the Health field, but then again- I love the Science field. Any suggestions?

Life Science.

In science you will have to fight lots of irritating nitpicky academic politics, inefficiency, prima donnas, never-satisfieds, and downright cheats. In Heath Studies, you will get the same only more.

Science is the future, it is the only way to truth, it is self-cleansing, optimistic, challenging and never spends longer than it has to stuck in any one falsehood. With over 6 billion on the planet, science is our only real hope. Life sciences cover some of the most important areas of study in that respect.

In the health sector, as a doctor or a nurse you get to save lives, which is cool, but the edge is taken off it a bit by the squalour, the drudge, the ingenuity of fools, and the long hours. If "health studies" leads to management then you will have reasonable cash but it is just a management job in the end.
