They have a union discount for most major unions. So I'd try through the firefighters union website.

What like a teaher discount?
I doubt it - well no in other words! If you want to save money the easy way - don't go for a Dell.
Try one of the cheeper makes - they are usally more powerfull and better quality.

public service personnel, i.e. fireman, EMS, teachers, cops etc, are often given discounts for their contributions to the community. honestly they are overworked and underpaid some it's nice to have some "fringe" benefits. I, working for a mortgage broker, can tell you they also get some leniency on their loans better than the average person does.
