I've heard that this is the reason a person with an incurable disease is at the mercy of their enemy. What truth is there in this?

Well if you worry too much about it then that mental worry can manifest itself into physical reality.

If you keep your outlook positive, no one can keep you down.

If your looking for proof of this, there is none.Certain practices use things like puffer fish powder to turn people into "zombies" who later come back from the dead. There is a good reason as to why this happens in third world countries.Because they don't use sophisticated equipment to detect the faint vital signs caused by paralysis from the neuro-toxin in the puffer fish.If this phenomenon really exists I'm inviting anyone in the world right now to afflict such an illness on me.It's nonsense...

EXAMPLE: if your hispanic and understand spanish (i dont know why some hispanic people dont speak or talk spanish)...if you heard the phrase "te esta echando ojo"...most of the times that means bad news. if your enemie just looks at you and gives you that "bad eye"and/or thinks bad thoughts (in a matter of speaking)...your screwed.
plus there is that thing where your enemie thinks way to much about hurting you that you might become ill....its like mental voodoo. sucks when it actually has happened to you before.
the cure, most of the time is just an "egg bath". thats when they rub an egg all through your body and at the end they crack it and out it in a container. youll feel better but the egg will look like ****.

ANSWER: just to answer your question (in a situation like that)...voodoo 'if you want to put it that way'. (mental, phisical, etc.)

in essence, yes. lotusrain is correct. there exist certain methods for directing "negative energies" at "enemies". they are real and effective. because that is the case it is best to not discuss them in any detail here. i would say, however, for the average person, their illnesses arise in the ordinary way. only in unusual cases are "curses" sent. and, most enemies in ordinary life are not adept at the mechanisms used for "cursing", fortunately. i would also say that if someone is seriously interested in "cursing" another they might be better off spending the time getting counseling. that type of desire is an indicator of serious dysfunction.

I am not sure, except that we are basically energy creatures. Made of energy, studied physics and science. Since thought is energy as well, negative energy directed towards you has to effect you in some way. Its possible that you could get ill from such negative energy as well as negative thoughts of your own.

i dont believe other people can have that kind of hold on you but i do believe you can have that kind of hold on yourself. Like have you ever woke up and said this is gonna be a bad day and then it is a bad day. well if you say its going to happen to you then it is likely that it will bc you already believe it is going to and you tend to watch for it to happen.
