well it's different. i think it's pretty but the pronunciation won't be listed with it everywhere she goes so she'll have to face a lot of mistakes growing up. I actually read it "cry-elle" at first.

I once heard that parents name their children with divine providence from god - that every child is named what they are supposed to be named.

What does Cyrielle actually mean? Sometimes a name can take on more attraction and likeness if it has a nice meaning.

Personally, I think exactly what the first person thinks: "eh, it's ok" but then again, I don't know anything about the name itself, the person who named the child, or the child.

You might come to see that the name suits her fine, you just have to wait and see!

Hi, I like that name. Here is some information about that name just for you from me :

CYRIELLE
Gender: Masculine & Feminine

Usage: French

Pronounced: see-REEL [key]

French masculine and feminine form of CYRIL

CYRIL
Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, Czech, Slovak

Pronounced: SEER-il [key]

From the Greek name Κυριλλος (Kyrillos) which was derived from Greek κυριος (kyrios) "lord". Saint Cyril of Jerusalem was a 4th-century bishop and a Doctor of the Church. Saint Cyril of Alexandria was a 5th-century theologian. Another Saint Cyril was a 9th-century linguist and a Greek missionary to the Slavs. The Cyrillic alphabet, which is still used today, was created by him and his brother Methodius in order to translate the Bible into Slavic.

Hopefully I can help you..Happy chossing....

Take care,

Dee

It is not for us to decide if we like a child's name or not. I hated my neice's name because she was given the name of two comets. Her first name was also the last name of one of my friends. So for the longest time I did not call her by her name, I called her comet. She is a comet. She never stops moving. My husband's aunt hates my middle child's name - she refuses to call her by her first name, she calls her by her middle name. You may not like the name, but she is not yours to name, so you can come up with a nickname or call her by her middle name. Eventually you will be able to live the name.

Ooooooh, that's a pretty name. I think uncommon names are cool. That way, everybody knows you as different.

what does it matter to you if i like it? but just so you know, the name is pretentious and snotty. your sister should change to something a little more easy to read.
