I'm trying to make a wooden box about the size of a shoebox to keep pictures, small figurines, etc., anything that will remind me of my memories. I want to use it as a keepsake box. Does anyone have any idea on how to make it? What items will I need? I'm also on a tight budget, so I dont have a lot to spare. Anyone have any idea on how to make a cheap one? Thanks!

Making the box may require tools that you don't have. I found if you go to a craft store, there are a lot of finished and unfinished boxes made of different materials. You could decorate the box any way you choose. Some are beautiful hat boxes. Sometimes, there are great sales. Walk around and see what is there. I have also been lucky at thrift stores. Have fun.
