My collection is full of male artists and bands with male members,i need some female artists,some good ones.Its not that i dont like female artists or their music i just havent gotten any.Please name me some!? Heart is a really great rock band, if rock is what you are interested in. Two females out of the four members, but they are essential to the band.
Janis Joplin is a rock/blues singer who is totally awesome! She has an unforgettable voice.
Joni Mitchell is a folk/rock singer, and her stuff is really sweet. She's a favorite of ours.
Tina Turner is a pop/rock singer. I don't know much about her.
Rickie Lee Jones is a pretty good jazz singer from way back. I like her. You might too.
Norah Jones is a more recent jazz singer.
Alanis Morrisette is somewhat of an alternative rocker.
