Most newspapers consider Doonesbury more an editorial statement than a cartoon. More like a political cartoon so they choose to run it in other sections of the newspapers. In ours, they've chosen to put in beneath the celebrity news in the Daily Entertainment section. Go figure.

Libs are embarrassed to get their political opinions from the funny paper, so they moved it to the editorial page.

it's there because of it's political content, not because it's true. It's a cartoon.
