He usually depends on you to read and write for him. Have contacted specialist but he won't go. Been together for 12yrs

the person is not a read and write type of guy...and if he has a problem... that makes him more insecure..
as some guys have pride, admitting what is wrong would take a lot of time and argument... I think there's more interesting in him and giving encouragement on that would be much rewarding.. as opossite poles attract.. there is something in you that attracts to him...or does not... if you are the read and write type of person... it is really depressing to see someone that is not you.... as 12 years have gone.. being together is such a wonderful thing..a time to accept that he would not gonna do it to please everyone...

Has he been logging onto Yahoo and asking questions?
Spelling seems to be an ongoing problem around here.

if you have kids have them read to him if they are old enough. men normally don't like that so he will be encouraged to go get help

Start playing word games with him, Scrabble or something.....my girl and I actually play strip scrabble....
