Isn't your bitching about people "using the word of God for political gain" simply pandering to your secular crowd. You are correct. Using epithets and inflamatory statements is pandering...
No matter who is doing the spewing.

Sounds like the truth hurts, people (morons) will vote for the party of the Anti-Christ, the Republicans, who will continue to lead the United States down a path of murder and destruction all the while raping the hard won freedoms and rights the citizens fought and died for since the dawn of the country. Sad, the truth does hurt, that so many people DID vote for Bush, are racist in thier core, and are out for none but themselves. It is sad that people are so dumbed down that they fall for this Ann Coulter nonsense, victim blaming idiot novels... Ruch Limbaugh, they take advice from oxycotin addicted slobs, blubbering about crime... It is sad.
Psychological warfare does work, the Government learned this very well in the 70's it is well documented. Now we see the results of not only an attack but of willful Sloth, a cardinal sin. Sloth that blinds people, allows them to actually believe that we are in Iraq for Freedom... Israel in Lebanon of "self defense" what a crock... But it is very mush like Orwell's 1984, work equals freedom all that... Corporate mindset to the bone...
That is sad but true.
All we can do is resist it. Teach others and when the right time comes, when the iron is hot strike, and then knock these motherfuckers right on their asses.
Until then, the struggle must go on and we can not bow to Conservative stooges who are under the spell of greed.

Conservatives will get my vote! Republicans do not use the name of God for political gain, they use his name to make people understand the similarities the beliefs of the party and that of God and religion share. Liberalism has no ideas of how to deal with problems while still respecting God. They stand for absolutely nothing! Republicans do and will always stand for This country and its CITIZENS, for God, for Faith, and for doing what is right, just, and appropriate. Even when those decisions are hard ones to accept.

Your perception of the Republican party is being distorted by the media. Most Americans identify themselves as Christians, and that includes a majority of BOTH parties. Within the modern political paradigm Republicans may be more open about referencing their faith as the source of their beliefs and political positions, but the split you see is NOT the atheists vs. the Christians.
The true split is this: Conservatives believe in Individualism. Individual rights, freedoms, and responsibilities. Liberals place more emphasis on Group identity, and responsibility to the group(s) we belong to.
Examine the positions on current issues, and you will see that this is true.

Ann Coulter meant Secual liberalism as the Godless Religion.
Conservatism is a political position which values the tradition and status quo, which is why they represent the majority of American who believes in God as it always has been from the birth of this Country.
If you look at our histroy, both Demo and Rep included God in their political practices.
It's only recent that Secularism became the powerful force in Liberalism and would not include God in the name of multi-culturalism and religious tolerance.
I hope this helps you...

Well they are good at using the ignorance of the people. American's think god is everything so the Republicans use that. Even though we all know all religions are just plain dumb and racist.

actually it panders only to the devout of one kind of religion... Christianity... they are actually anti every other religion...
that's what no one seems to get... you can't be pro-religion and only talk about Christianity... that's only one of many... and you end up being anti-most religions...
so... who who is "Godless"?
Liberals are actually open to all religions.. but Christians are just mad we don't put them first... that's what the WHOLE ISSUE really is... they are mad we take other religions into account

They're too close minded. It goes back to the old "fear & control" scenario. Call Liberals "godless" and people who can't think for themselves automatically put them in a category of evil.....it's absurd.........
