Because Bush has ZERO skills when it comes to international relations. He grew up rich and NEVER traveled. What a moron! He's a right wing crazy christian who thinks he's right about everything. I can't stand that turd!

It is truly sad the responces on this board. The hatred that the left spills from their mouths proves it is not Bush but their own bitter hatred for our own democracy. Bush divided us? Hmm, did Bush also make so many people on here the nastiest, viliest people around?

The reason the world hates us now is the same reason the world has always hated us and it is the jealousy they feel towards us. So many in our own try to seperate the American gov't from the American people, but this is impossible. We are hated because we rule ourselves. It is hard for the rest of the world when they are governed by the elites and the "educated" to see that dumb folk like us common man truly do the ruling here. We elect reps every two years, a President every four and 2 Senators from every state every six years. The people have a mighty voice in this country and it works.

For the majority of our exsistence we have had a work ethic that was one with the attitude that the harder you work, the better you do for you and your family. This has given us the worldly apparence of only looking out for number one and doing whatever it takes to win. We have a very competitive nature. This is frowned upon by the world.

And you can not deny the fact that currently we are a world superpower and have been for the past couple of decades with an economy that is envied by many. While I dispute any idea that Australia and latin america are opposed to us, Europe certianly has been, but who can blame them. These are all once very mighty nations, that for the past four hundred years have done almost nothing compared to their great and storied histories, with no positive horizon showing forth.

It is not because Bush became President.

America is hated, maybe, becuase of the truth that has finally come out as clear as it can be.

First, think how America came into being. Then think how America made money and continues to make money.

Guns and violence is a part of America. Nixon, Kennedy, Bush etc are presidents who are known for war in certain areas of the world.

It makes money for America. Then the dollar. The mighty dollar and the loans to third world countries that are very poor. Do an audit and see how much money america makes out of third world countries. The repetition of history. British did the same. Now America.

Then the spread of christianity. Take all these points into consideration and do the equation.

Who comes out richer and winner in all this? It is mind boggling but true.

No wonder people hate America. I am not proud that some of my family is american.

Are you sure that the people and contries you listed do actually hate America more now that Bush is President?

I really doubt that America is any more or less hated than it has been at some point in the past.

Politics and the history of politics runs through cycles, so sometimes America is well thought of, and sometimes it is not.

I have to say, though, that the destabilization of the Middle East was talked about before the US military moved into Iraq, seems to be happening.

America has demonstrated that it has the power to make huge changes in the way things work around the globe--we can overthrow governments, give and take away aid money, incite wars or pressure people into peace negotiations. However, it appears that this power has only been used recently to help Americans--to make them safer, richer, and stronger, while the most needy people in the world are left to struggle on their own.

Because bush is a twit, he has communication skill or interpersonal skills, the way he thinks he can resolve everythig is through war, he has no diplomatic force as previous presidents, he wants othere sto do the work for him , hes send condoleeze rice out to do the jobs he should be taking care of himself, should be impeached over and over

Perhaps because he has gone his own way where foreign policy is concerned rather than relying on international law and international institutions. He would rather see a regime changed rather than have direct negotiations with leaders who are likely not to agree with him.

When President Bush debated Al Gore he said "If we're an arrogant nation, they'll resent us. If we're a humble nation, but strong, they'll welcome us."

Somehow I think he forgot he said this but the other leaders around the world remember.

What we have to remember is that for most people in other countries our politicians, especially our president is all they ever see.

Because noone likes bush and thinks that he is sooooo pro war when in fact he is just trying to help his country. And the fact that he is not that good of a speaker. But i dont think him not being a good speaker is a big deal. It doesnt have anything with how he protects this wonderful country of his!!

Perhaps because this president doesn't put up with their Bullshit? The media and the left have done quite a job. I commend them. Wars are never popular, but in my mind neither is making millions off of brutal dictators while people die.

I am born and raised USA and he is making me hate it too!!! After 9-11 he brought our country together in a way that I have never seen in my lifetime. Then 6 months later he rips us apart and democrats vs. republicans began. Everyone is divided in this country now because of his BS. He needs to go.

Sometimes when you have someone who holds to his beliefs and won't capitulate to appeasing weaklings they aren't really popular in the world community. Look at Winston Churchill, Anwar Sadat, and Ronald Reagan
