Anything with teeth can bite if mis-treated and small children are unpredictable with animals. On a lighter note, I have seen trained rabbits in a daycare environment and as long as they are monitored closely then a small animal really is a good thing for a class room. It teaches them to respect life. It also exposes them to the responsibilities of pet ownership. Good Luck!

I've had a bunny, they scratch quite a bit and get stressed out very easily. I would not reccomend getting one for a daycare.

They're too unpredictable to be around young kids who don't know how to handle them properly. They scratch like all get out. The hind legs of a cotton tail rabbit can disembowel a coyote with their hind legs, just think what they could do to a toddler if they were truly frightened. Dogs of mild temperament are good for daycare otherwise, sheep, small goats, and ducks. Cats are too skittish or unpredictable and rodents are too fragile for children.

In you've ever seen any of their fact sheets on the back of the centerfolds, some Playboy Bunnies could be considered wholesome and caring, so I don't see why they wouldn't be good daycare employees.

I'm not quite sure of your question, but if you're asking if bunnies are good to have with small children, bunnies can (and will) scratch and bite.

Some people are allergic to bunnies and their are certain laws concerning whether pets are allowed in certain place.
Is it a seeing eye bunny for instance?

I would say no. Bunnies are very skittish with younger kids. They don't like to picked up all that much! So I would say something like hamster or gerbil!
Goodluck

No because they are very scared all the time and the scratch and bite and thats no fun if you have to explain to parents about that.
