This is way too complicated to answer especially without knowing the real context of your question.
Kids are kidnapped for so many reasons. There are people out there who prey on children, they are the worst kind of humanity. There are people out there who will take someone else's child because they can't have one of their own. Very misguided and in need of serious help. There are the parents who steal their own child from the other parent either to protect them or for sinister reasons.
So many reasons why they do it. But I guess knowing why can't solve the problem. We watch out for our kids the best we can and pray nothing ever happens to them when we are looking the other way.

Because Kidnap has the word "kid" in it. Adults are not kidnapped; they are taken hostage.

becuz theres sickos out there that have nothing better to do, and when they see an unexpecting kid(a kid not paying attention to his or hers backround) they grab them and take off. i wish things like that enver happens, kids dont deserve it.
