ALL OF THE MAGIC MOUNTAINS ARE NOT CLOSING!! ONLY SIX FLAGS IN VALENCIA DUE TO A BUYOUT. THERE ISN'T A FOR SURE "CLOSING" BUT THEY ARE TRYING TO TEAR IT DOWN AND BUILD HOUSES. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, THEY MIGHT USE THE PARKING LOT TO BUILD THE HOUSES AND LEAVE SIX FLAGS OPEN BECAUSE IT IS A MEGA MONEYMAKER [ABOUT 30,000PEOPLE A DAY] BUT TEAR DOWN THE WATER PARK OR A CERTAIN SECTION OF SIX FLAGS.

Six Flags, Inc. is CONSIDERING putting up the park for sale. Nothing is definite at this time. If they do, then the park may either stay as is and operated by another owner or, considering that the land is worth around $1 million per acre, a developer may end up purchasing the land, many of the rides could re-locate to other Six Flags parks, and the location could turn into a housing community.

No, the park is being sold. It may or may not be closed. This is a terrible financial decesion by Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro (who is an idiot). Yes, the park is in need of some renovation, but what park isn't? CEO Mark Shapiro is just trying to take the easy way out by selling the park. If Cedar Fair buys the park, they will actually invest money into it and straighten the parks problems out.

*Extra Note* one of the reasons Shapiro is selling the park is he wants to have a family park chain, and the man is obessed with Disney (I read that Six Flags Darien Lake is selling something like Disney toys! Ridiculous!), strange man he is.....

The reason is the following: really bad traffic. The residents complain of all the teenagers it attracts. Rude Employees. Teenagers doing violence, sex, drugs. There has been shootouts and knifings too. If they do close six flags magic mounatin, they will be replacing the park with homes

so a procedures as i understand,it continues to be open and continues to be owned by using Six Flags,in spite of the actual undeniable fact that it continues to be up on the industry and that final it does not be a risk after the park became offered!
