kittens outside. well first their mother who is a snowshoe siamese refuses to stay in and the kittens were born outside and were brought in because of bad weather. im not a bad owner giving the animals what they want. My siamese was an indoor cat until she found the dryer hose opening and went out the whole in the wall opening. some cats are like this i guess.

I'm not mad at ya! You gotta do what you gotta do. Cats are weird that way,and they are going to have theirs no matter what.
Brewers yeast and garlic pills are available at your local pet store. This is a natural way to keep the fleas away and it won't hurt the kittens. Just give each cat at least 1-2 pills each day. if the kittens are nursing they'll get it threw her milk. I have 5 cats so each day i grind up 5 pills and mix it into their wet food. This works i swear by it and will never have dangerous poisons in my house again. If they are really bad wash them outside in original blue dawn dish soap(it really kills fleas very well).

The only treatment for fleas that really works are the treatments you can get from your vet, advantage, frontline, the expensive ones. Collars, baths, none of it works well or for very long. if you really want to get rid of fleas that is what you need.
For kittens they have to be 6 weeks old I belive to get flea treatments, so treat the mother and that will help the babies but as soon as they are old enough treat them as well.
If you can't keep them inside then that is ok, but they really need to be socalized if at all possible, get use to getting picked up and handled, other than that they should be fine.

Give them flea baths if they'll let you. Flea collars are dangerous if they are sneaking out unless they are one of those break-away types. You know, I have three cats who have been raised indoors, now that it is hot and cooler outside at night, they will go to such lengths as jumping out the second story window (there are no screens on our windows). So, they'll find a way out if that's what they really want. Just let em out, its not bad for them to be out... Unless you live on a really busy street.

Cats no matter what they are like to have the feeling of freedom and that is likely the reason she kept escaping.
