First of all you don't wash leather , Secondly , worn leather is worth big bucks . Take it from an ole biker bi@ch from way back , worn is GOOD . But , if you want it to look pretty , try lanolin that is for the hair and rub it in , the drier the leather the more it absorbs .. Preppies and RUBS love worn leather , because it gives everyone the idea that they have been bikers a Long time (LOL)

Use good old fashioned shoe polish and rub it in really well. There is a polish that has no color if you're worried about the black rubbing off.
Or if you don't want to do that, use mink oil.
You can always look in the yellow pages or go online to scope out any leather goods stores. They can advise you on the latest products.

Try saddle soap. Then buff it really well, like you would buff a car. And next time, take it to the dry cleaners to be cleaned. Leather isn't supposed to be laundered. Good Luck!

there's a great leather lotion by kiwi at wal-mart. it's great. it brings shine back, heals the leather, and if you shine it with a shoe shiner, it'll SHINE again.

saddle soap or mink oil.
the former is good for cleaning and conditioning, the latter is more like a heavy-duty conditioner.
