Why won't people just accept us for who we are? All the gay people are always making snide comments about us straights. People look at us funny when we walk down the street. I haven't even told my parents that I am straight, yet. I am scared to. They said that if I turned out to be straight, I can never bring any women to their home. When will the madness end?

That is kind of reversed. I would never tell my kids not to bring someone home UNLESS they didn't treat her well or weren't kind to the rest of my family. But I guess that there are people like that in every group and it will never stop. At least in my opinion. I think the more people that are in the world, the more hate there is going to be between groups. All parents and teachers can do is try to make children and young adults understand that there are different races, sexes, religions, education, social and economical levels in the world and to tolerate and not judge. As individuals that is all we can do.

It's OK to be Straight, accept it and embrace it, Straight is who you are and you can't change that, oh you can have the sex thing with the guys to see if you can change, but you wont, you will always be straight and sex with men will only be that, just SEX , it won't be a stronger connection that you have as a straight.

Face it you are straight and always will be, people will like you for who you are as soon as you face up to it, you can't live your life to please your parents it has to be for you. SO find yourself and be happy bring that girl home and hold her hand strong and say to your parents this is my Girlfriend and I am Straight, you except me or leave me, the choice is yours.

I raised two straight boys. It never occured to me to expect them to be anything but straight -- it was a 90% chance afterall.

I very much doubt that things are different for you.

Reyn

Gee, I guess the solution would be for you not to tell your parents you're straight. That way you could bring home all the women you want! That's how many of us had to play it, so WELCOME TO THE CLUB!
