Make sure you are using a new razor and not pressing too hard. The Bikini Zone Shave Gel and after shave lotion work wonders on stopping the bumps and irritation.

It is a very simple solution. Make sure you use a good shaving cream. Lather up and shave WITH the grain. DO NOT shave AGAINST the grain. This is what causes the bumps you are talking about.

It will seem like you are not shaving as good as before, but just go slow and use a sharp razor.

it doesnt mean your doing anything wrong i have the same prob...but if you want to have a less irritating shave use a good lotion instead of soap like lubraderm or aveeno when you shave that area and also make sure you use one razor for you legs and a different one just for the bikini area you want the razor to be as sharp as possible so you reduce the tuging and try not to go over the same place twice if you can help it.

i'm 39 weeks pregnant and have not been waiting to shave for 18 weeks. i glance like a cave lady! I asked my husband to a minimum of trim it for me yet he did no longer opt to. He advised me he would not sense comfortable going around someplace so delicate with sharp gadgets....i grow to be thinking of attempting to do it in a reflect. to no longer get a razor and shave like i many times do, yet a minimum of a trim, yet i've got no longer tried it yet. I in all probability will supply with an entire bush, lol. i in my view do no longer care the two. I do sense extra uncomfortable and slightly icky understanding there is a lot taking place down there yet i do no longer care with regard to the wellbeing care provider or all and multiple else on the wellbeing midsection seeing it like this.

Yeah I get bumps too. I put on a little dab of lotion before shaving and make sure my razors not dull.

That's why bikini waxes are so popular.
If you can't afford to go in and have it done my advice is you buy a home waxing kit and learn to do it yourself. If you don't want to do that then a product like nare will work, but that sometimes irritates the skin.

no matter what I did, creams, lotions, etc. I always got irritated. Now I have an electric razer and I use that, it has a built in bikini trimmer and it does a great job! I never get irritation now, and can always feel comfortable and confident in anything I wear.

maybe you have sensitive skin. that's fine. maybe don't shave, just get a professional wax every couple of months, moisturise and exfoliate, and then trim realy close. not everyone has the option of total hair removal. and that's ok, like we were taught in elemantary school, everyone's different or special or unique or strange or something like that

No, it's very easy if you approach the task from the proper angle and I mean that literally. You need some one else to do it for you.
On the other hand, you could go "au naturel" which is so much more sensible.
