For me it would have to between The Who or the Rolling Stones. Seen the Who this year at T in the Park and the stones in 1999 at Murrayfield.

I was 16 then and 22 now.

Both suprassed any 'new' or 'young' band that I have seen (and theres been many) with their sheer energy and crowd interaction!

Whats been your fave and why?

nirvana-it was an awesome show, and just a few months later kurt died, so it was something that could never be replicated.

Metallica puts on an awesome show...I love the energy...and James Hetfield. Disturbed is great too...Dave Draiman is HOT! My favorite concert was El Monstero, a Pink Floyd tribute band. They only play in St. Louis (at the Pageant) and they only play at Christmas time. The show blows your mind! They had the original Wizard of OZ movie on a big screen while they played Dark Side of the Moon. The music goes perfectly with the movie. That was the most awesome live performance I had ever been to. They are almost as good as the real Pink Floyd.

Best band without a doubt live is KISS. Every single time I've seen them, they've blown me away. Always something different and song selections vary every show.

Honourable mentions...
Garbage, Motley Crue, Slayer, Voivod, The Exploited, Yngwie J Malmsteen. Krokus, Lee Aaron, No Doubt, Queensryche, Ratt, Pink Floyd

I've seen quite a few bands live, I would kill to see the Stones and U2 before they stop touring, but my absolute favourite live band would have to be a Canadian band called Our Lady Peace. They are phenomenal live! There is so much passion and energy at their concerts. You can hear some of their songs at www.ourladypeace.com

Kim Mitchell for sure.

Of course, I've only seen those two, Loverboy, Chilliwack, and April Wine.
Aerosmith and Alice Cooper would rock

green day because they sounded great and did some really cool stuff with the crowd, like taking some people up on stage to play a short song type thing.
