Just be... oh, right. Sorry. ^_^
Well, I think one of the best ways to stand out is to resist peer pressure when your friends want you to do something wrong, you firmly tell them "no." They may not ask you to smoke weed or anything like that, but if your friends start picking on someone, teasing them, then you can make the decision to not join in, and maybe even apologize to the person they were making fun of. That's just one scenario.
Another scenario: You could also be polite and respectful to teachers, other students- no matter what they may say or do. You dont' have to be a door-mat, but treat everyone with respect.
Yet another scenario: resist the urge to hit someone who insulted you.
Basically, do something that very few people would do. Example: If someone insults you, it's basic human nature to strike back. Don't. Let it roll off your back.
Another example: Help out or offer to help a student that has dropped his/her books, open doors for teachers, say "please" and "thank you" ...basically common courtesy.
Do things like these and you'll earn respect and trust. Some kids may not like you, and they might even tease you, but hey, that's their problem. If they can't accept you for who you are, then they are not worth your friendship.
I think that's one of the best ways to stand out.

Chill out...I'm going into 9th grade next year, and I'm kinda nervous too. But everything will be fine.
If you are a religious person, don't be afraid to show people how you serve God.
If you like serving others, do a lot of community service or start a club or organization.
If you like sports, then knock em' .
Just whatever you do, don't try to be a teacher's pet. Both the students and the teachers don't like teacher's pets. And also don't try to be with the "in" crowd. I know from experience that they are all a bunch of backstabbing losers.
Good luck and God bless!

Why do you want to stand out?
I mean, you should really just be yourself, and I know that can be an annoying thing to hear. But 4 years ago I was in 8th grade... and I was just myself and I had alot of friends and alot of people knew who I was.
But if you honestly want to stand out then I'd hang out with the populars if at all possible. Those are the ones who truely stand out.

Don't be a follower....they just "blend in".
If you wanna stand out in a good way, be open minded, non-judgemental, and nice to everyone. This will keep you relaxed and cool and give you a chance to feel out the "average" so you know what IS different....then you can be whoever/whatever you want.
To "stand out" is a comparative phrase. You have to first be familiar with what you're dealing with. Good Luck!!!!

Get involved with extracurricular activities. This is the fastest way to get recognized. The more you can handle the more you will network socially. Keep up a good appearance, good grades, and good rep with teachers and faculty (this doesn't mean you have to be a kiss *** either just have a good natured relationship with your teachers).

ahh, 8th grade. Okay well, I was in 8th grade last year, it's not easy to stand out but I mean don't try to be somebody else. Take things that you like and make a big deal out of them, you like a certain band? broadcast it like crazy mad. Also, you know who the popular people are, most likely, try and get in with them, talk to them, hang with them, and find out what they like.
hope this helps if you need more help do this:

I mean you don't want people to tell you to be yourself. So, you want me to tell you to be fake and be like someone else? I won't tell you that.
But I will tell you this. In school to be popular and or well rounded. You need to get along with everyone. And how you do that is join alot of clubs and do alot of activities. Saty focused and remember what you do in middle school will determine the status of what you will do in high school. So, keep your grades up. And do you.

Dont placed on any. if you're asian there truly is not any choose- your eyes are already darkish sufficient and that is an exquisite commonly used purpose that maximum ladies shoot in the route of with eye makeup. the proper ingredient that you could do is to take very solid care of your pores and skin- eye-catching pores and skin is extra ideal than any type of makeup. in case you experience the favor to placed on some, placed on some staggering lip gloss and a mild eyeliner. also, make certain your eyebrows are trimmed proper. have relaxing!

don't you love when ppl don't listen?
First, Stop caring what other people think. Just stop. Then ask, what do I like (anything, animal, shiny stuff, etc.)? Find it somewhere, somewhere unique. Where it. A cool necklace or bracelet is always cool. Wristbands work. maybe you could make your own shirt, something that says something about you. MAke yourself stand out by showing people, THIS IS ME!
