You are only 14 years old. Don't wear foundation until you are like.. 15.5. Just a little lipgloss and eye liner should do the job.
If you really want to wear B.E. foundation, they work. However, it depends on the person's skin and such. You also need primer, which can be expensive. There is a makeup store called Sephora that allows customers to try on all the makeup they want.

If you were older, I would say yes. But since you are only 14, I say stick to minimal make up. Get the cheaper stuff now, and when you are like 16 get Bare Minerals. For now use blush, mascara, and lip gloss. You will look naturally beautiful. Plus, it's fast and easy and you won't have to wake up 15 minutes earlier to do your make up.

I have that whole line of cosmetics...and I have tried it on my sister (who is 14) and it looked great on her!
Be sure to get the right shade for your skin tone, because I have noticed that if you use a shade that is slightly off your natural color, it is REALLY obvious with Bare Minerals. If you have a store that lets you sample the product or does makeovers, try that to be sure. Good Luck!

I use bare minerals and I really like it. Do choose your color carefuly.
I also use the mineral vial it helps set the foundation and keeps it from getting shiny in the middle of the day. :)

Before you do that, try Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. It is pure and less expensive than BE. The company sends samples for free too.

At 14 do not wear foundation. you are too young. If you want some color Neutrogena makes an instant bronzer that you can use on your face and it will make you look instantly tanned and beautiful...

i'm 13 and my mom uses it. she let me try it once. it will look fine, but it doesn't do much since kids are already naturally beautiful. plus a starter kit is $60, and thats kind of expensive for a kid. i wouldn't recommend it. i would stick to cheap stuff from dollar general or target until you are older and you really need it.

I love it. I bought a no-name brand on eBay & it was awful. Now I only use Bare Escentuals. It covers great without looking like you have a mask on.

I haven't tried it yet and don't want to order it off TV w/o trying it, so if you know of someplace that sells it and lets you try it, let me know. But to the point, as long as you keep your makeup natural looking, you will look fine. Don't go overboard w/it.
