no.

i am on the other side of the aisle

but here are somethings traditional republicans can say........

1) i don't support the economic policies of the president.

2) i don't support the preemptive war doctrine

3) i don't believe that the military should be used more often.
4) i don't believe in creating destabilization in the mid east in order to plunder.

5) i don't believe in unchecked presidential power.

No one is a traditional conservative can support this administration and still call themselves that......

even John Dean Nixions legal council.....is no longer a conservative by current standards.

read his book
Conservatives without Concious.

In real terms yes. However, most people have a skewed definition of Neocon now - it's become somewhat twisted as a genreal degoratory term against conversatives now.

Neo-conservatism is simply where conservative attitudes changed to those that early liberal parties supported - particulary economic ones such as open, free and fair markets etc. Pro-war or anti war positions actually have very little to do with the basis of the term, as is commonly misthought - you can have Neo-Cons with both views.

I am a Republican, that cares about nature, pets, & human rights,& freedom. I care about high gas prices (but understand why), I care about the war in Iraq (also understand why), I believe in fairness, & equal rights. I hate liars, cheaters, crooks, and those that take advantage of the ignorant, poor, or seniors. I also understand you need to crack a few eggs to make an omelette. I hate runaway goverment waste (welfare), I hate criminals having more rights than victims, I hate children being exploited all under the guise of freedom of speech, I hate people that want to do harm to my country. If that makes me a Neocon, well than so be it.

No. I have a spine, and a mind, and I do not just take any lie given to me by the brain dead pin heads I would have elected because they told me there was a monster in the closet and ONLY they could save me. Does the word puppet mean anything to you? Their heads may be as dense but at least they have an excuse. their noggins are made of wood.
