A COACH store will be able to quickly tell you! They probably give details on their website as well. You may be able to even call them. Don't say were you boiught it just ask them to check it out or via phone ask what you should be looking for.

If this purse is 'vintage' it is possible that the numbers are there just a little rubbed in. Check the purse again and see if you find the #s. If not, check the Coach website. If that doesnt work, then either call or stop into a Coach store. If they have no record of this purse anywhere, you may want to contact the person who you bought this purse from and send an email asking for your money back.

i'm no longer particular in the experience that all of them have them or no longer... which type of bag did you purchase? I easily have 2 coach purses and they both have the leather-depending tag interior, yet I easily have a wristlet, also, and it does no longer. i guess it probable relies upon on what form that is, how previous that is, and how huge that is.
