Usually when I search for images on my computer, about twenty disgusting porn pictures will come up. I'm sick of having to see these - is there any way I can block them and just get "safe" pictures?

If you rightclick on Firefox, and "Block images from ___.com", that usually works.

There is also an extension called ImgLikeOpera or similar which does just that, for Firefox.

Also (not just FF users) you should use Google/ Google Images, with a strict SafeSearch turned on.

Best of luck.

Go to TOOLS then Internet Options on your IE browser. Then go to the Security Tab and Click on Restricted Sites. Click on "SITES" and you can add websites to the block list so that it will not allow you to go into that site.

You can also get a parental control set on your computer so that it blocks bad websites and pictures from loading on your computer. Norton and Mcafee have weekly updates with urls that they found that are X rated and they will automatically block them for you.

sort of a lil problem here; your system may have been 'infected' with the e.t. (phone home) secret code, which gets the cookies automatically when you fire up your browser. one thing you should do is this: in your browser tools>internet options>privacy>advanced>and under 1st party cookies check 'accept' and 'allow session...' and under 3rd party, check 'always block' this should help keep out new images, and do the other things these nice folks suggest here
