That's a hard question since we don't know what you are already bored with.

But...one of my favorites is fried cabbage.

1 fry some type of meat for flavor, port chops, sausage, bacon, whatever you have in the frig.
2. Take out meat,
3. saute some onions, green and red bell peppers, celery, (if you like those things) in the drippings. Pork has gotten so lean you may even need to add some olive oil.
3. Add cabbage, Shredded but not really fine like you would do for slaw. Stir and toss
4) You can add back the bacon or sausage if that is what you cooked to start. serve pork chop separately.
5) It's ready when you are. Can be eaten crisp or steamed well done. (cooks quickly)
*I usually add a can of blended Ro-tel tomatoes (tomatoes with peppers) and steam for a while.Maybe 10 or 15 minutes.

My son and I can eat the entire skillet (almost)

But I warn you, it's not pretty, but so good.

Skillet Surprise:

This sounds dicey, but is REALLY good, if you try it:

Take a half loaf of bread and cube it into 1-1.5" pieces
Melt 2 TBSP Butter in a frying pan on Med.
Add 1 can of tuna fish drained
add about a 1/4 cup of catsup
add horseradish to taste (I like it kind of hot)
Mix until heated through
ADD the cubed bread and stir occasionally until kind of toasted

Again, this sounds iffy, but most people are amazed!! My mom used to make it and it was a favorite enough that I would request it for my Birthday meal (and I could have asked for steak!)...

Something simple and quick, that goes great with the hot summer weather. Try a salad and become imaginable. Short with some type of lettuce, use veggies such as tomatoes, green and yellow sweet pepper, mushrooms, cheese, dice green onions, croutons, with your choice of chicken or shrimp. Add your favorite dressing or use lemon juice with a sweet wine vinaigrette for topping.
