I thought you picked the peppers, then pickled them instead of the other way around, pickling them on the vine. But assuming you can, Google says that 1 peck is about 9.3 quarts (I sort of remembered 8 quarts from school). You need to find out how many peppers will fit into a quart or a peck. If a pepper is roughly a cube 2.5 in on a side, then 1 quart is 3.6 peppers, or 1 peck is about 34 peppers if one of the peppers is smaller than usual.
But before jumping to the conclusion that one can smash 34 peppers into a peck container, consider that not all the space in the container can be filled. This gets into a difficult sphere packing problem, or rather, a pepper packing problem. Further, the pickling will shrink the peppers, making you be able to pack more. Probably the best way to find out is to buy 2 pecks of peppers, pickle them, then put them into one of the peck containers and see how many fit.

How can Pickled Peppers be Pickled? That would mean that they are pickles with spicy flavor, or peppers flavored like pickles? Either way thats one sick flavor.
And a peck means hex which means six so he picked six. Maybe.

about .25 bushel or 2 gallons or (as already stated) 8 quarts. A peck [or English "pek"] is a unit of volume measurement.
