I'm kind of a sk8er girl and I live in LV, so it's hot this time of the year. I don't know if I should wear jeans, capris, a mini-skirt, a black or colored shirt, ecc. Please help me so I can make a good impression!

and i know what you can wear
jeans are always ok to wear just make sure you are wearing a light top like a tank or a tee shirt
a mini skirt is cool wear like converse and a wife beater
like if you want capris go for denim capris with a tee or a tank
i have been in vegas all my life so trust me on this

I'd wear jeans or capris with a nice shirt, you need to make a good impression on your teachers and others around you. Work slowly to the sk8er stuff.

My daughter is starting her freshman year in high school this year as well and she is also a sk8ter girl. i suggested to her that she should dress like she always does. usually it's Capri's with a hot t-shirt and her DC's with 1 shoe lace that reads I love sk8ter boys. On the first day she is going to wear a jean skirt w/ a black t- that has a faded skull that is upside down. (very cute).
It sounds like your in a hot city - wear some thing cool cause you will be hot all day and uncomfortable which reflects on your personality .

I am so glad I am past that. I remember having to make those decisions. I would go with capris and a black shirt, afterall you are a sc8ter girl. I would stay away form the mini, you don't want to be the school s.l.u.t. for the whole four years...Be confident it's your best accessory. Good Luck on you Freshman year, you'll need it! Be tough, girlfriend.

I would say, you being a skater girl, if you wear a skirt don't wear a pink, frilly, or girly-girly skirt. But, do wear either a jean skirt or black, etc. Personally I would wear a jean skirt and a colored tee, or v-neck shirt. A pair of comfortable shoes. Flip Flops considering the weather. Wear something you'll be comfortable in...you'll make the best impression when you aren't worried about how you look or fiddling with uncomfortable clothes...if it's going to be hot, then stay away from jeans imo, or you'll melt...something cool and light colored sounds cute and comfy...
