people are so anal about this personally i like both, but i am more picky with rock, and as far as rap i'm mostly into club and gangster stuff

I think it's definately rock. No offense if you like both, some rap is cool for me but I love rock and roll, I'm just that kind of picky person. All that heavy metal stuff is just people letting their anger out in a bad way but especially some of the old suff like John Lennon, the beatles, nievana, and modern greenday along with he red hot chilinpeppers, oh yeah and Bob Dylan are all really cool. If you think about it all of our musical leaders are rock artists like Bono ( not exacally one of my favs but still cool), and John Lennon.

I love both. I think its all about the mood. If i'm sad I'll probably listen to rock and If i'm in a party mood I can listen to rap.

ROCK!!!!!!!! I think rap is the worst possible attempt at music there is. It is pointless and sounds terrible. It gets on my nerves, but that doesn't mean I am not friends with people that like it. We just don't talk about music.

i am going to go with adult comtemporary alternative rock and underground hip hop instead of rap... for the fact remains.. rap has went too commerical and mainstream... underground hip hop is hunger for the music... I like some rock... just soft rock.. my migranes can only take so much of screaming. what the heck.. I LOVE ALL MUSIC!!! GO MUSIC!!

To me rap is not, or will it ever be considered music in my book!!! But, it seams like the more one hates something the more popular it is to someone else. But me personally, I like rock,metal,country,blues,and some techno.
