I'd recommending getting an endorsement as a school psychologist. You would be involved in testing children for placement in special education classes. You could also become a school counselor... this would be more of a relationship in which you try to guide young people. You may even consider teaching children, provided you take the additional classes needed for certification.

See my answer in your other question, but quite a bit. Really a little too broad to get into a lot of detail. Too many fields within psychology.

RIght now the US has a very serious need for child psychiaritrists... the is a serious shortage... all of the qualified ones right now are overbooked... very good field to go into and very needed in our country right now.....

2 of my friends are school phychologist. At elementary school and high school level. She works with students that may have learning and emotional dissabilities.
