best runningback?!?!?!

The best running back is Ladainian Tomlinson with Larry Johnson and Shaun Alexander on his heels. Tomlinson beats these guys because he combines receiving, rushing and scoring touchdowns better than these other two guys. Tomlinson is a threat to score 20 touchdowns per year with 1500 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. No one else in the league can say that.

Also, the Chiefs and Seahawks have superior offensive lines. The Chiefs have Willie Roaf and Will Shields, the Seahawks have Walter Jones and had Steve Hutchinson. I dare you to name just one guy on the Chargers offensive line. Do it.

L.T. is clearly the best.

LT is the best runningback in the game. Tomlinson can catch, run and throw touchdowns. He is one of the most prolific backs ever to play the game.

I'm gonna say LT. All around back he can do it all. He can run, catch, and he's proven he can pass too!!!

2. Shaun Alexander
3. Clinton Portis
4. Tiki Barber
5. Edgerrin James
6. Larry Johnson (he hasn't done it for a full season yet, so I can't put him that high, but I think he's potentialy the best in the game, and will probably prove it this year.)

Ladanian Tomlinson

Ladanian Tomlinson without a doubt, no o-line, no passing game, little defense, yet the man still gets his yards and his scores, game in game out, catching, running, blocking, he does it all. If he ever gets an offensive line like in Seattle or Pittsburgh, ooohhh, watch out. 2000 yards, 25 td's every year if that happens.
