I'm thinking like you. In the previews, all it promotes is the sex part of it. Don't remember that in the original Miami Vice.

YES, I saw it it 2months ago in a test audience and was surprised how much I enjoyed it since I hated the TV show - one thing I felt Jamie Foxx did not act well in it, he was just there and gave no energy or vibe-almost like he feels he does not have to becuase he is an Oscar Child. He has more talent than that.

i grew up watching miami vice on tv & it was awesome. i don't think the movie could possibly compare to the show so i wouldn't even want to watch the movie. i also don't like colin farrell so that's another stike against it for me. if you haven't seen the original series then maybe you would enjoy the movie.
