my AIM isnt working right. does uninstalling it then reinstalling it work? if so how do I uninstall it?

If you want to uninstall it, go to the Start Menu, then Settings, then Control Panel. A new window will pop up. Find the icon that says: "Add or Remove Programs" and double-click on it. Another window will pop up -- this will list all the programs on the computer that are properly registered. Locate AOL Instant Messenger in the list, click on it and press "Change/Remove." An uninstallation program will run, and you will want to follow the on-screen instructions.

Yeah, try going to your control panel then to add or remove programs and try installing a new aim.

just download Trillian instant messanger(it works with AIM, ICQ, MSN, YAHOO.... anything you want)
