When my mom was dying, she was laying on a bed in my familys living room (she died from cancer) I felt extremely sick to my stomach all the time. Couldnt eat, Couldnt sleep- it was bad. I loved her so much. While she was dying, she kept lifting her arms in the air, and me and my sister kept trying to hold her hand and she would brush our hands away. We stopped and she was reaching for someone. She reached, then dropped her hands, and died. Someone was in that room with us, and she was reaching for him/her. It was very strange. Immediatly following, my sister and i who had both been sick were immediatly ok. The next few months I felt like she was with me all the time, and i felt ok. Time passed and soon my 21st bday was here. A week before my bday, I had a dream. She told me that she was leaving me. But not to worry, that by the time I get to heaven, she will be there again. On the night of my 21st bday, (i stayed sober mostly) My friends and I saw a light - we even took pictures with it. We followed this light, but it stayed by me. Eventually at Midnight, the light moved outside, and we followed. The light sort of went to the back of the house into the field and disappeared. Immediatly I felt relief. Like i knew, she was there for me no matter what.
I dont know how much of a ghost story that is, but its an amazing story. I love telling it, and my friends are all believers now. Good luck. angie

My Mother's Family has nine Brothers and Sisters.
My Uncle and His wife were expecting a Child when I was young.
There were complications during the birth, and My Aunt died.
My Mother and Aunts helped My Uncle raise My Cousin.
They were raised on a large parcel of land, owned by My Grandparents.
My Uncle had a home there as well, He was a Rancher, and Farmer.
When My Uncle became older, He turned the Land over to His Son, My Cousin, and moved into town.
Several years passed, and He met a Woman who lived next door, and They began to date.
They went into business together, 50/50.
After a long standing fight, and Their break up, the business burned down.
The Woman was always the suspected cause of this, but there was not enough evidence to prove it.
They continued fighting, seeing how They were still Neighbors.
My Uncle had not been seen, or heard from, in a day and a half.
My Cousin's wife went to His house, and found Him laying on the bed, deceased.
They ruling was that He had experienced a heart attack, while taking a shower, and had made His way to the bed, and passed.
The house of My Uncle was moved back to the Families Country Farm.
During the move They found evidence where a fire had attempted to be started in two places.
Move forward a couple of years.
We took Our youngest son to the Farm, with several of His Friends, to celebrate His Birthday.
It was a wonderful day, and everyone had a great day.
After everyone took a bath, about seven, (only one bathroom), My Wife took Her shower.
As She was drying off, with Her back to the bathtub, She felt a hand, one Her side, like Someone would do if They were trying to get move You over a little bit, to get past.
She turned and said, "Oh excuse Me". And then froze, realizing She was all alone.
As She came to bed that night, the bedroom right outside that door, She closed the door, still scared.
Laying there still trying to make sense out of what had happened.............
The door swung open, making that creaking noise.
She tried to ignore it, but couldn't.
She got up, and closed the door again, and raised to the other side of the bed.
Within two minutes, the door opened again, but slower this time. Still quickly, but not really fast, again creaking.
By this time She decided I needed to be awake, and She is urgently telling Me everything.
Now that I am awake She feels safe to close the door again.
She had finally settled down, and then, the door opened v-e-r-y slowly, as if in slow motion, and the sound this time was grinding, and long.
I then knew what She had experienced.
We found out the next day, that the path everything happened was the exact pathwy My Uncle walked, from the bathroom, to the bed. (Different bed in case anyone wants to know).

one time this monkey died and it's ghost came back and haunted a high school over summer break. Then they decided that the ghost couldn't haunt the school if there was no school, but the kids had already started going back because summer break had ended by the time they had figured this out. (it was a government project) But the company that was gonna tear down the school didn't know that the kids were still in there so they tore down the school with all the students inside. Then all the students that died started haunting the local market so they tore that down too, but didn't tell the owners that they were going to knock it down (another government project) so they didn't close the place down so when the company tore down the market all the shoppers along with the owner and all the workers in there died so the students, the owners, the workers, and the shoppers all haunted the local bar so the same people went to knock down the bar, but they got there and decided to have a few drinks and ended up getting drunk and when they went to get the bulldoser they got into a drunk driving accident and died so the people tearing down all the haunted buildings died and all the people who were killed by their stupidity got their revenge by pulling them down into the firy pits and I'm just now reading that it was supposed to be a REAL LIFE ghost story. oops, sorry, oh well... mine was best anyways. lol.

I was sitting on a couch in LA, not far from a military cemetary.
I saw something that appeared to be pure energy, IT was all faces and no faces, IT was all emotions, and no emotions.
Shortly after I found the code in the bible. When I saw IT I was afraid, but in an instant I thought IT could not hurt me and I asked it to come back. IT did, and I felt Euforia like never before, pulsing through my body. I asked IT for a name, and the feelings got weaker, then I asked if I could ask yes and no questions, and the feeling got a lot stronger. Then I asked if I was right about the numbers, and IT got real strong.
When I awoke I was in a totally different position. That was the day my life changed forever. I was 21, I saw in an isntant all the pain that I was causing throughout my life, and I could feel, like, I can't describe IT.

This is my boyfriends story.
He was driving down the street getting ready to make a right. He saw this girl holding a little dog and she was wearing a floral dress. He didn't think twice about it, he only really noticed her because she was sitting on a rock in front of the gas station holding a dog. He thought it was strange. My boyfriend turned the corner speeding of course and saw the girl stand up. He drove about a couple blocks down and saw the same exact girl walking ahead of his car. He doesnt really believe in ghosts or anything but got chills after that happened. He wasnt driving slow and he didnt see her get into a car. Plus even if she did get into a car the car would have had to be speeding ahead of him, stop, let her out, and then speed away before my boyfriend saw them. He was sure it was the same girl with the same dog and the same dress.

This is more of a supernatural story rather than ghosts -
I was on the ouija board one time, about 10 years ago with some friends. We didn't say goodbye and close it out when we left and we were walking around the building. Suddenly heard glass breaking on the wall next to us (nothing there) and wind (no windows or doors open). it all stopped when we went and closed it out. Also the ouija board was telling us words in greek that meant what is said it did when we looked them up - none of us knew greek. Freaky.

Years ago my new bride and I moved into a small house in New England. The house was very old, at least two hundred years. Both of us worked, and the house was empty while we were gone. We would come home after work and find my wife's lipstick smeared all over the mirror, and my toothbrush missing. This would happen on and off several times per month, always my toothbrush vanished.
Late one night we were awaken by the murmur of a crowd outside our bedroom window. I hopped out of bed, peeked out the window and saw nothing. The murmur then entered our living and slowly moved into the bedroom. This was the noise of a large crowd, no apparitions.
Later we found out that the house was once home to a police officer and his family--wife and two children--who all had been murdered late one night 30 years prior. Needless to say, we moved out shortly thereafter.

ok. this might take a while to type out. But it was the scariest thing that happened to me. When I still lived in Fiji, my dad and I were heading up to the airport. It's a very windy road to get to it and it was an overcast day. The road is infamously known for the accidents that happen on the second to last turn up the hill. If someone was to go too fast, they would swerve off the road and fall down far. Many deaths have occured there. Well anyways, as we were heading up, we noticed this old lady on the side of the road. she was right by the "turn of death" so to speak. We stopped by her and my dad asked where she was headed. She replied that she was going to the airport. Well, my dad is a very nice man and offered her a ride. She was sitting in the back seat while my dad and i were in the front. For some reason, our heater went from warm to ice cold. I was trying to figure out what happened and was messin with the knobs. My dad glanced in the mirror and saw that the lady had changed in her appearence. She looked menacing and scary, like those witches in stories. We are big believers of our religion and we carry pictures of our gods around. My dad picked one up and showed it to the lady and suddenly she was gone. It was the freakiest thing that ever happened to me. I know it doesn't sound believable but it did happen. Fiji is notorious for ghost stories dispite its postcard image, you just have to know where to go.

I don't know if this is a ghost story, but it sure was to me. My great grandmother was on her death bed and one night I was sitting there alone with her. All of a sudden she reaches her arms out like she's hugging someone. I asked what she was doing and she said, "Don't you see them? They can see you." Then she started crying. She was probably really delusional, but that a good enough ghost story for me. Have a good day.

I was at the hospital with some relatives. They were preparing to cut off life support for my Uncle.( He had been in the hospital for quite some time, and there was nothing else they could do).
My cousin, his daughter ,was sitting beside me for a while, and got up to leave the room immediately after they had " pulled the plug ", and had left a banana on the chair right beside me. There were several of us still in the room, all very quite, until three of us saw the banana in the chair flip over. All of us just kinda looked at each other and eventually started laughing. To this day we think it was our Uncle telling us to lighten up. His wife had died about a year before, and he was finally where he wanted to be. He always had such a great sense of humor, and we suppose just wanted to make us laugh one more time.
