I am 30 wks. And I have had pelvic and back pain again(I had it in my first trimester it was stretching.) but not where I can't really sleep cause I am never comfortable no more. This has been going on for about 1 wk now and I am in a pregnancy club and they say that dropping can mean (if first pregnancy)that you will deliver in about 2 to 4 wks.Could I be having this baby really soon. I feel him in my pelvic area.

I would say it depends on the baby's size and where it is in development. My wife had pelvic pain most of her pregnancy because she had a large baby (over 9 lbs). Pelvic pain does not always mean that you are about to deliver. It could still be weeks away. If you are really worried, check with you dr. on the next visit.

Oh, I don't think that you are going to deliver that soon, especially if everything is going well with the pregnancy so far. Having only 10 weeks to go, you are going to feel miserable for the rest of the time and actually, its going to get more uncomfortable. Next time you go to the doctor, you can request a pelvic exam to make sure that you haven't dilated and starting to efface. They might not do it and they might also be able to tell just by an outside exam that everything is okay. I really do think that the pregnancy will go to full term, like I said, especially if everything is fine so far. But, ask your doctor and don't trust everything that you hear on the net!

You can be dropped and still have several weeks to go. You can tell you've dropped when you feel a little more relief under your rib cage, you feel more pressure in your pelvic area, and people who see you every day actually notice and start telling you. The true indicators of getting close are "thinning" & "dilation" of your cervix.

sleep with a pillow between your legs (above your knees) for the back pain (check with your doctor first if you want)
GOOD LUCK and congrats.. I never knew when I dropped I just knew when I got birthing surges - look into hypnobirthing - teaches about why you need to breath deeply and relax when you are birthing and having surges... honestly I found this birthing thing no big deal like people say - 1 year old boy now..
Everything is going to be soo wonderful for you..!

Your stomach will begin to lowered, don't worry to concentrate on having a healthy baby by eating the appropriate foods and getting plenty of exercise (walking), doing a lot of walking will help you have a much easier birth. good luck and congratulations
