Try saying something like this "I just was too damn lazy to go in today. On top of that, I could really give a crap about you, my job, or the company, which is why I'm also too damn lazy to phone in. Sorry, boss, I'm just pathetic and you're better off firing me." Well, at least that's what your behavior is saying...

Tell your boss you broke your ankle and fell down some stairs and you had the ringer off your so sorry(yeah right) Then say it hurts really bad what you think i just got back of a holiday vacation yesterday?Then go tell your boss to watch the movie Office Space and how the boss reminds you of him.!!!

Tell him that you unplugged the phone coz yu were nackered, and just slept all day and your really sorry, weaving alot of lies is not the best idea, at the worst tell him you have had a funny tummy and you unplugged the phone and went to bed and your hubby/mum/friend was calling for you but totally forgot! and the one that he won;t beleive is that you were delayed! but make sure you turn in to-morrow, or holidays may be a thing of the past!!!!

Tell your boss you had food poisoning from a sandwich you ate at your holiday destinations airport. It's a highly likely scenario.... Of course lying to your boss is bad.....very very bad!!!! LOL!

Food poisoning from the plane as the food is reheated several times and is a common problem.

say that you thought you were meant to be back tomorrow and look disorganised
or say the plane was delayed or a problem at the airport and you could not get through

do you know that Industrial Law says you can loose holiday pay if you take a false "sicky" the day before or after your holiday... they arn't daft...take care..

If you've been abroad tell them your plane was delayed, or tell them you have an upset tummy (delhi belly or so-on)
