sidebruns are patches of facial hair on the sides of one's face, in front of the ears generally.Hope it's useful.

Side burns are that part of the hair on a man that extends down in front of the ears.
Most men keep them trimmed.
Some let them extend down to the bottom of the ear and longer, others keep them shaved off altogether.
