I have a rose for my mom, dad, bro, and daughter tattooed on my leg but wouldnt put my husbands name on because later on down the line it may all go sour. Personal stick with blood family in order to avoid a potential cover up tattoo

My friend is a tattoo artist and he has said to everyone who comes in his shop that he does not recommend a person getting a tattoo of their spouses or partners names on them because it is too hard to cover them up with other tattoos when they break up. Or, he says, go get it removed by a doctor and have a scar there thats uglier than the tattoo was. Your best bet is not to get his name tattooed on you at all.

Does your hubby consider himself to be one of your children.. I would think not.
Tell hubby that you have him in your heart, your soul, and the very breath you breath.. he has your whole body, should he desire it.. so why can't you just reserve a small portion of it strictly for your children.
Nope, wouldn't put hubby's name on..

I think that it's very thoughtful of you to tattoo your daughters' names on your body, but like my dad always told me, "Tattoos look stupid on men and stupider on women!!" (envision an imposing military man is standing over you as you cower beneath his 6'2" stature!) So far, this advice has been fairly solid for me! Good luck in your decision!

You might be remarried one day. You never know what will happen in the future. I thought my husband and I would be together forever but he's remarried now and has a whole other family too.

I wouldn't, because it seems as if you have used your body for your daughters who u carried nine months inside of you and to add his name would mess up the "shrine" that u have made just for your daughters

your girls will be yours forever, that guarenteed but will your hubby? i am getting a tattoo for each of my daughters and as much as i love my husband, i will never get his or anyone elses name tatttooed on me. it's your body, your choice, tell your hubby that, you gave birth to them, thats why they are tattooed on you, if he cares about you he will understand that.

I wouldn't do it... Those kids will be yours forever (there's no getting rid of them), but ex-husbands are a real pain in the *** & I certainly wouldn't want the name of one tattooed on my body...

Too risky, if you ask me.

do not add his name. it just seems like bad luck.

if he wants something, maybe get both of your horoscope signs next to eachother somewhere, or a symbol of something special from your honeymoon, like the eifel tower if you went to paris
