The biggest problem is some 'christians' who preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against gay people. They actively campaign against peace, justice, tolerance and humanity and are obviously hypocrites.

The biggest problem that the LGBT community faces today is the commercialization and exploitation of their love.
Don't mess things up the way we heterosexuals did. You have a chance to do it all differently...
Firstly, don't cheapen it. Don't make your lesbians into sex-starved vacuous-eyed waifs. Don't make your gays into penis-waving players.
Secondly, don't apologize for it. Don't tuck it under the bed. Your sexuality is as throbbing, as vigorous, and as unearthly as anyone else's. It's not a closet, it's an oasis.
Thirdly, don't get stuck inside yourself, like we did. Don't be isolated, don't be alienating. Don't cut yourselves into little squares of too-gay or not-gay-enough. The more lines you draw the more punishments are dealt.
Fourthly, don't let heterosexuals tell you what you are. Don't let us tell you that you can either be a Jack or a Will, an Ellen or a Portia. Don't let us tell you what you do and do not like. Don't let us tell you what is sexy about you.
Lastly, don't forsake love, don't start something without it. We are slowly abandoning it...we're forged out of control mechanisms and fears and lusts, we're princesses and patriarchs, we're victims and saviours.
Strive for love that is rough around the edges, dog-eared, honest, and pure.
Do what we should have done.
Don't do the things we should fall to our knees and beg your forgiveness for.
Don't believe me when I tell you how sorry I am for the reign of hatred and terror that has brought unrelenting human anguish to your community throughout history.
Just try to keep surviving.
Don't take our sh!t.
Good luck.

Helping others to understand that love is love. There should be more true love in the world not more hate. To educate people about equal rights. And helping the BLGTQ community to also work on themself, aka knowing the myths about bisexuals and getting rid of them within the community. Helping youth feel comfortable and have support along with older GLBTQ people. Having more everyday community things, not clubs and stuff. Working with the straight community so it's together with the GLBTQ community, as we are all just people.

The biggest problem they face is themselves! It is no longer safe to assume that sexuality alone is enough to give people something in common to fight for. The are divisions within divisions, as with most social groupings. Instead of this being perceived as weakness it should be embraced as a strength because it shows how rich and diverse your sexuality can be and how it is nothing abnormal it is a step towards being at peace with yourself and those around you.

So if you want check out my question and maybe give me some insight. I don't want to hate, but the only thing I can replace it with is I don't care.

The lack of respect for each other . The LCBT has a problem learning to respect each other and learning to work with each other rather than against each other . Until this problem is resolved nothing can be accomplished , a house divided cannot stand .

1) Being taken seriously -- when they use such hostile language and personal attacks against those who disagree with their lifestyle, it doesn't do them any favors.
2) High risk for deadly diseases.
3) Shopping around for activist judges who will legislate their social agenda from the bench, often in defiance of the clear will of the people. (Re: gay marriage)
4) Seeking to redefine marriage in ways that are, no offense, just freaking strange.

The illusion that they can demand to be treated as normal. Homosexuality is an aberration. It is not normal sexual behavior. All animal species use sex for procreation. Humans do that and use sex for pleasure as well. But certain body parts are designed to be used for certain purposes. Any mis-use of those certain body parts is an aberration.

Becoming to lazy. We like so many people have left the fight for our equality to a few people. We don't get out and vote for those legislators that support us and vote against those who don't. We don't turn out to march for the issues we should. We don't support one another in health and issues like marriage. Instead we leave it to a very few brave souls.
We must all go fight for what we need and it's equality to adopt, marry and be treated as equals in this country. To claim out rights and to allow to show those who fight against us that we are equals and loved by God
